Named after the Spanish word for five, Cinco is the brainchild of Kishore Shetty, Anshul Shetty, Varad Patil, Vishwajeet Naik Nimbalkar, and Akshay Patil. A light and youthful energy is what they aimed for their brand and hence the idea of a fusion restobar came into place.
About
The chic interiors at the club create an all-inclusive experience, giving away the feel of a classy, elevated and energetic space.
A night club with a phenomenal island bar as the centerpiece of this establishment goes well with the quirky lights that are provided to create a captivating feel. All of this adds to the dining experience.
Whether it’s their lavish private space within or the beautiful outdoor seating arrangements, I can’t help but be awestruck by the design that exudes the perfect setting.
Review
Having been inspired by hispanic culture, Cinco has predominantly curated a menu from European cuisines with hints from Southeast Asia and India. Such is the eclectic mix one can find here. The very vibrance of the space shows the influence of Latino culture that brings the fun that we associate with the Spanish nightlife. A reinvented menu creates little twists used to please the crowd.
Cinco is undeniably another addition to The Mills in Pune. Add ambience with music and a delectable array of food and you get an exquisite dining experience along with a happening nightclub.
Hors d’oeuvres for the non vegetarian and vegetarian fare are Butter Garlic Prawns and Fenugreek Paneer Tikkas.
Here is the Spanish influence in the Vegetarian Tacos put along with the Indian Prawn Ghee Roast on delicious Coin Parathas.
Still place for the mains, so we added Five Spiced Chicken along with the Peanut crusted Fish with Jalapeno Risotto.
Of course the Ricotta stuffed Mutt Cream Ravioli could not be avoided and a decadent end to the meal – Hazelnut and Caramel Torte.
