Review
The menu at Vembanad gives you an array of coastal delicacies that hail from Coorg and Kerala, with a refined touch that takes it to another level. Chef Ranjan Samal truly outdid himself. You can see how he adds his individual style to the cuisine he represents. The food was simply divine and the menu at Vembanad has a lot to offer its diners.
The shrimp and basil tortellini was a lovely beginning to my meal along with the citrus salad served with cajun spiced chicken.
Kacha Aam bhara cheeseball with Murgh Rosalli Kebab and Prawn Pollichattu along with Baingan Bharta and Chicken Curry. The chef kept it simple with home style rotis.
The dessert was yet another success with a home made red wine Poached Pear served with sticky rice and coconut pudding.
